From bad food to bad weather and bad dental hygiene, people all over the world have stereotypes of Britain and the British people that they unapologetically use to take the mickey out of British people whenever opportunity presents itself. Britain’s past colonial history and the way Britain and British people are portrayed in mainstream Hollywood movies have also played big role in propagating the stereotypes. While not all stereotypes about the British people are true, some of them do have an element of truth in them.
